My bias is Hyunsuk so I was so shocked and frustrated when Jaehyuk is revealed as the 6th member after Jeongwoo. But until now, I understand why. The very first thing is YG was the judge of Kpop star for 6 seasons, the main producer and the person who created Kpop great bands such as BIGBANG, 2NE1, WINNER, iKON, BLACKPINK. He must be experienced and have his reasons for choosing Jaehyuk. Secondly, except for the visual, Jaehyuk is quite outstanding on stage, he knows how to control the stage. Hyunsuk said that in the rehearsal of semi final of YGTB Jaehyuk was worried and made many mistakes but after that he did a good job and shined on stage in Growl performance and received the best compliment from YG. He improved extremely fast just for 7 training months. Moreover, Jennie of BlackPink used to say that “some people may have skills but no charms”. The charm is the key making you shine on stage. Jaehyuk may not have the best skills among trainees but he has charms to attract audiences on stage. Last but not least, after several eps of Treasure Map, Jaehyuk is really a good MC and the mood maker of Treasure. He makes everyone laugh with his jokes. Maknae lines are also happy and comfortable being with him. Jaehyuk is really kind.
